Recruitment process

This section explains our recruitment process and how we recruit our people. Each position that is advertised includes a description of the job and the criteria.

If you are applying for a position as Cabin Crew or a Pilot, please see the appropriate link on the right side of this page. For general applications, the process is as follows:

Applying online

  • Advertised vacancies are split between airBaltic and our partner companies.
  • Read through the vacancies, the duties and requirements, then choose the vacancies that match your qualifications and experience.
  • Fill in the application form at: http://recruite.airbaltic.com/
  • For some positions you will need to fill in an additional application form. Make sure that you provide full and accurate information.
  • Attach your Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English. Please make sure that it is clearly structured and that it is up to date.

Reviewing your CV

  • If your experience meets the criteria for the position you are applying for, you will receive a phone call or email inviting you to attend an assessment.
  • If your experience does not meet the criteria for the position, you will receive an e-mail and your data will be saved in our database for future reference.

Preparing for the assessment

  • When you receive an invitation for an assessment, prepare! Read the requirements and responsibilities one more time to get a clear understanding about the position you have applied for.
  • Visit www.airbaltic.com to learn more about us.
  • Ensure that you know the exact location of where the assessment will be held and the time.
  • Think about questions you may wish to ask us to help you better understand the position you have applied for.

Assessment process

The assessment process usually consists of several parts. The actual process depends on the specific position. The HR department will keep you informed about each step in the assessment process.

The assessment process could include:

  • Personal interview
  • Role play
  • Group discussion
  • Presentation
  • Ability tests

After the assessment day

If you are successful you will be contacted by our HR department. We will take up job references for you and you will then be given a job offer and detailed information regarding recruitment formalities that you need to be complete prior to commencing employment.

 

If you are unsuccessful you will be advised by email. You are, however, welcome to apply for other positions in airBaltic for which you are qualified.
